“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside awakens.”

Approach
True healing begins with cultivating a deeper relationship and trust with yourself. I help you reestablish this inner connection and learn to trust the wisdom within—bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be—to create true transformational change. Learn how to become a person who has tools to overcome fear in order to live wholeheartedly—driven by courage, love, and authenticity.
I offer a collaborative and integrative approach that draws from attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and mindfulness to help improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and reduce anxiety.
These approaches allow you to develop strategies to form secure relationships, regulate emotions, and make more fulfilling life choices.
With an emphasis on the mind-body connection, I also integrate biofeedback to help clients gain insight into the impact of thoughts on their physical being. All of this is aimed at the goal of having you leave feeling self-empowered, resilient, and more connected to your true self.
Background & Training
My approach is grounded in my training and past career experience. I earned my Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and pursued additional training in Polyvagal Theory (explains the role the autonomic nervous system plays in regulating health and behavior), anxiety, meditation, mindfulness, attachment, Internal Family Systems, couples counseling and play therapy. Communication is the key to developing strong, fulfilling relationships and it can be learned. I am Level I and Level II trained in the Gottman Method and use it to help enhance connection and manage conflict with the important people in your world. I also hold a Master of Arts in Teaching and have almost a decade of experience in the education system teaching children and training parents and educators.
